Spheros Motherson Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation at Prawaas 5.0 with New Thermal Management Solutions

Gilching, Germany/Gandhinagar, India - July 9-11, 2026 — Spheros Motherson, the pioneering joint venture between the Spheros Group and Samvardhana Motherson, is proud to announce its participation in the prestigious mobility exhibition Prawaas 5.0, held from July 9 to 11, 2026. At Booth 106 in Hall 1, the company will showcase its latest advancements in sustainable thermal management solutions for the rapidly evolving Indian bus market.

Making two decades of partnership since 2006, Spheros Motherson continues to bridge German engineering excellence with local manufacturing expertise. As a “One-Stop Sustainable Thermal System Solution" provider, the company offers a comprehensive portfolio tailored for all drive types, including internal combustion engines (ICE), fuel cells, and fully electric systems.

This year at Prawaas, exhibition highlights include:

Launch of the CC500: Specially engineered for high ambient climates like India and the Middle East, this new rooftop air conditioning system for 12-15m ECE buses offers superior cooling performance even at lower engine speeds. Its advanced design, including a new mounting scheme and reduced refrigerant requirements, delivers improved Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

CC400-E for EV Efficiency: The CC400-E is a zero-emission, lightweight AC system for 12m electric buses, offering up to 40 kW cooling capacity. It features intelligent control of the blower, condenser fan, and compressor to optimize energy usage and vehicle range, while its hermetically sealed circuit ensures durability and low lifecycle costs.

Expanding Footprint: The company is currently establishing a new, state-of-the-art 100,000sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Dharwad to serve OEM and Aftermarket customers across Southern India with rapid 24-48 hour delivery lead times.
